Our innovative FedEx Fresh shipping program is one of the keys to our success. We put great effort into making top-quality products. We're not about to let that quality be compromised as our products travel through the shipping and distribution channels to our wholesale and retail customers.
More than a decade ago, Sonoma Seafoods partnered with packaging professionals from the University of California and FedEx to develop our pioneering FedEx Fresh Program. Our FedEx Fresh Program has flourished, and we now rely on it to deliver to over 2,000 retail stores across the nation on a regular basis.
Ordering & Shipping Sonoma Seafoods Fresh Entrees
Our FedEx Fresh Direct Store Delivery program features a twice-a-week delivery option. Our stuffed seafood entrees, specialty cakes, appetizers and burgers are delivered Wednesdays and Fridays. All shipments are sent via a two–day transit and are guaranteed to arrive at 42° F or less. Our operators begin calling the customers as early as 6 A.M. PST and will finish at 11 A.M. PST on Mondays and Wednesdays. The orders that are placed on Monday will arrive at the stores the following Wednesday by 4 P.M., and orders placed on Wednesday arrive on Friday by 4 P.M.
Ordering tips: Most of our customers mix and match a variety of items into their orders and shipments. Sonoma Seafoods representatives confirm the orders by repeating it to the customer on the line. Many of our wholesale and retail customers have their seafood managers place orders. New Customers: our sales staff will give you all the details and product lists you need when you sign up for our FedEx Fresh program.
Once we take all of the orders from a customer, we invoice the orders and send them to our production line to be packed.
Problems on delivery? We Solve Them.
Sonoma Seafoods ships about 800,000 pounds of products each year via our Direct Store Delivery program. As with any large shipping system, from time to time we experience problems due to factors including weather, misplaced orders, or misdeliveries. To date we have a failure rate of less than 2 percent.
However, our 100 percent guarantee means our problem does not become your problem.
If you experience difficulty with your shipment, we will overnight a replacement and/or issue an immediate credit to you. Just call 800-411-2123 and a knowledgeable representative will fix your problem immediately -- we guarantee it.
